Michael Kaleda, Executive Director, is a career construction management executive with 40 years of federal, state, and local government experience, managing military, school, and transportation projects. Currently, he is Executive Director of GBRI. His transportation experience includes the NYC Moynihan Train Hall project where he organized and led the pre-opening readiness exercises and the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) East Side Access project – the largest active transportation infrastructure project in the United States, where he served as Program Executive for rail construction. He is a Professional Engineer in New York and is a certified LEED AP, O+M professional. He graduated from Manhattan College with a BE in Civil Engineering, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with an MBA in Management and from the University of Illinois with an MS in Civil Engineering. He is a frequent lecturer, and a mentor to both young engineers and small businesses.
