“Traveling Sustainably: Keeping your footprint small while expanding your horizons” is GBRI’s guide to help you make the most sustainable travel choices this holiday season and beyond. Join us as GBRI Senior Research Associate and globetrotter Ross DiLiegro outlines what sustainable travel is, why it is important, and how to do it. The course also covers what aspects of travel have the largest negative impact and what travelers can do to reduce their impact when on the road.
Traveling Sustainably: Destination Case Studies & Lessons Learned is 2nd part of our sustainable travel series. Under this session, Ross walks us through several case studies and lessons learned from his ongoing trip around the globe. In addition, he talks about options for volunteering and getting involved with the local community while traveling abroad.
